@maglebyhomestead: PT 1 of Restoring the Creek We moved to the farm in the middle of last summer and immediately wanted to clean up the creek so we could actually see it and the kids could play in it. What we thought might just be some weed pulling actually turned into a much bigger project due to all the mud Hurricane Helene brought down 😬 This was just the start of the restoration since this creek runs down a large part of our property and a lot of it was covered. And to be honest it is still an ongoing project 6 months later! But isn’t it so beautiful seeing all those natural river rocks?! We couldn’t believe what was underneath all that overgrowth and mud! #farm #farmlife #stream #creek
