Would this fall under a bait and switch, which is illegal, if they’re advertising the car for a particular price and then when you call/go in person they mark it up?

That’s an FTC violation. Advertising a price and then marking it up when you try and purchase it at an advertised price is fraud and false advertising. File a complaint with the state AGs office

Metro Honda is super shady. Was planning to get a Type R through them, called and made an appointment, had an OTD price already negotiated without a markup and the car was available on site. Called to follow up before the appt only to be told later it was sold and they “forgot” to update their online inventory and then tried getting me into a different car that had a $10k markup.
