listen all you say about germany it true ,but the beer there is not cold like our beer, why do I say that ? well where i was we had a little canteen, where we had american beer and German beer. And German soldiers would come up to our place to have a beer because it was cheaper. First beer, they drank, and then they had us put 4 or 5 bottles. In the sink with cool water to cool it down. Because our beer was too cold for them. now I am not sure but I will say you did not have the hangover with the cool german beer, and we drank a lot of beer on the weekends its not room temp like they say, colder then that but no ways near as cold as our beer. our captain once ask us why we drank german beer over our beer in the canteen., SIMPLE. OUR BEER 20 cents there beer 15 cents we did not get much money like they get now my pay was $200month E-4 over2years.was in for 3y there for almost 2y ------- SO AM I CORRECT -------
