Check to make sure the water isn’t cold. Their water should be warm, otherwise this can happen. I hope he’s okay! ❤️

It looks like he has stress stripes on his side, if you have a water test kit I would recommend seeing what levels the ammonia is, if not I would do a 50% water change either way and maybe try bringing him closer to the top of the tank so it’s easier to got oxygen
