And yes… they need adults to lead But there’s a big difference between learning to follow guidance and being trained to obey for rewards. 🧠 Real motivation doesn’t come from stickers, prizes, or points. It comes from feeling capable, curious, connected — and safe enough to try without fear of messing up. When we rely too heavily on compliance systems, we might get quiet classrooms…but we also risk teaching kids to: -wait to be told what to do -avoid risks -care more about rewards than learning 👆🏻And that’s not the same as respect or responsibility! The goal isn’t to remove authority —it’s to use it differently: to coach, guide, and support kids into wanting to engage… not just behaving to earn something… 💬Have you ever seen a kid totally light up when they were given real choice or ownership?
