Email the superintendent of the school with your concern’s and let them know you didn’t gain clarity from your conversation with the principal and you would like an investigation into this incident and have a in person discussion with the principal and whomever is in charge of the bus.

As a someone who is a Dean of Students and have to handle situations like this all the time. I communicate to parents, I can’t send them the video but they can come up and still see the video in person. However, different states have different rules. 15 days is a long period of time for one incident. That is also something to inquire about if this is his first altercation on the bus. Many questions I have lol being on the other side of administration . Apologies this wasn’t handled properly.

go to the district and do a formal records request including but not limited any and all footage related to the event. they’ll have 30 days to release footage and failure to do so will give you clearance to file a formal grievance with your state department 💚
