I’ve had a pantry moth infestation before. Any food in the entire house needs to be sealed. It’ll be gross but getting insect sticky traps helps greatly (might actually be called moth traps). Keep everything super clean. Make sure there’s no holes for them to lay eggs. I suffered from it when I first moved into my place and now I’m terrified of them. Let me know if you have any questions

Also, freeze the rice for a couple of days before storing. Flour and other grains also.

Check cardboard boxes with pasta. They hide in the cracks and creases of the boxes.

I solved it by transferring everything in a cardboard container (like bread crumbs, etc.) and put it in airtight containers. Good luck!

Pantry moths: I bet they are laying their larvae in your wicker baskets. It’s a perfect hiding spot. They love grains but if they have no food source they will chew up your baskets.

I’m afraid they’re in those baskets. My mom had a whole pantry full of those hyacinth baskets & we had to trash everything after pantry moths like 15 years ago. Clear plastic bins only for me now.
