@cherieintokyo: When in Beppu, make a stop to this traditional Japanese tea house called “Amamichaya” where you can try all the local desserts (they have everything on the menu). This is a really popular spot even amongst Japanese people so it may be crowded and it might take some time to be seated, but it’s casual and you can take all the time you need. Saw many families here with very young children. The tea house even has toys for your children to play around with. Overall, a cosy and comfortable vibe that feels very Japanese. #japanese #beppu #oita #kyushu #japantravel
