This is a clever use for those mats! Back in the day when I was a cloth diaper maker, I used to buy 60" wide acetate for this purpose, but for smaller items, this is perfect!

I use those!! it's great. one thing I also did is sometimes I need to pin it with my bears.... so I took a hole punch and did two holes about a 3/8" apart. perfect to slide a pin through💛

They work great to use for storing your fabric, I cut them in fours and roll my yardage around them.

I make my own scrub caps for working in the OR and have a cardboard template I made that I use now. It works but it isn't great. Your idea is soooo much better!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

Sharpie writes on them really well and drys. Then comes off easily with rubbing alcohol.

I use them to stick down in cat litter pans as a shield since my boy cat likes to stand up mid pee and it keeps him from peeing out of the pans.

My husband cuts my patterns out of plywood and sands them down. Rotary cutter doesn’t go through and fingers are safe!
