This is totally the Colorado DMV. Moved from Washington where it was a walk in, get your license and fuck off. Here is no walk ins, 8 weeks out, then wait an additional 90 min after your appointment time for them to call you up to the counter

my favorite story is a dude went to a DMV and the woman told him he needed to show like an electric bill or something. so he had to wait until the next day and went back and had a different staff person who had no idea what he was talking about. he didn't really need it

It's worse if you have kids. I tried to get a replacement for my son and they want the original medical records from.the hospital and a notorized affadavit from the physician who presided over my son's birth, blue or black ink only of course.
