@summermaeoutdoors: 5 tricks I use to successfully complete my challenges - Share this with someone who has trouble seeing things through to the end 1. Make it public - announce that you are accepting this challenge to further increase accountability. 2. Share evidence - this helps me because I gain accountability partners and I feel confident they will hold me to it. 3. Incorporate a guilty pleasure - I typically watch a Netflix series while I’m doing my cardio or any monotonous task. This is something I rarely have time to do so this is a small reward and it helps pass the time. 4. Accept no excuse - When I accept a challenge or set a deadline I take it serious. I’m no different than anyone else, I can come up with a hundred reasons to not meet the mark so I have to consistently find reasons how I can and dismiss the reasons that I can’t. 5. Establish the reward for completion upfront - It doesn’t have to be much or extravagant but it should be something. My reward for this 30 day challenge is going to be a homemade berry cobbler. I’m a firm believer in earning your pleasures - not only does it keep you disciplined, it makes the pleasure that much more appreciated.
