My best friend got it on her back BADD but she literally has a heating pad 24/7 other than at work she sleeps with one under her

I never got marks after 3 years of use but I did fall asleep with it on. I thought I was safe because it is on a timer but somehow it got turned back on and I woke up with marks. They went away and I don’t fall asleep with it on anymore but I saw how it happens after that day.

I legit have my heating pad + a heating plushie on me 24/7 and it still hasn’t left a mark, I’m not allowed to use it on my stomach more tho.. Cus of infections, but still I used it daily for Atleast 23 hours 🥹🙏

i have scoliosis too and especially in the winter i always have a freshly made hot water bottle on my back and ive done that for years but only last year did i get toasted skin syndrome for the first time!
