I agree fully with taking them up and not giving them to the sharks, but occasionally in certain circumstances such as areas where they are very used to getting fed sometimes it can be safer to continue to give them the food because it could be dangerous if you don’t, so it’s kind of a tough one. The problem was we should’ve never started feeding these sharks in the first place. Because I agree I don’t think they have the capabilities to hunt them on their own. They need to pack of sharks to be able to do that like the white tip shark and the gray reef shark back with they’re from here they hunt so pretty much and in order to catch a Lionfish you need multiple sharks.

Feeding them just makes them harass divers. They circled us the entire dive in the Bahamas.

They don’t taste good. It’s unfortunate but they are spongey with a strong flavor.

Kill the Lionfish, YES! They are invasive in the Caribbean. Feed them to sharks: ABSOLUTELY NOT !! Humans don’t have to interfere with wildlife!!! How is this a debate !?? Leave nature alone !! It works better without humans. We are a plague.
