I think one of the biggest things I’ve learnt about body confidence is that sometimes it’s not actually your body that needs changing, it’s the way you look at it 🥲✨ Buying clothes in the sizes that actually fits me, rather than obsessing over the number on the label, made such a difference (because let’s face it, the numbers on labels are b*llsh*t💩) Following women with similar body shapes helped me realise I wasn’t the only one with a belly, an overhang, rolls and seeing them wear the clothes I thought I “couldn’t” wear made me want to try them too, and honestly? Unfollowing accounts that constantly made me compare myself was a GAME CHANGER👏🏼🤍 You don’t have to follow someone just because they’re beautiful, if their content consistently makes you feel rubbish about yourself, you’re allowed to unfollow them to protect your mind 👀 I’m not saying I’m confident every single day because I’m definitely not, I’m human and I have my sh*t days too😂 but I’ve learnt that I don’t want to spend my life waiting to look different before I let myself enjoy clothes, photos and actually living… If you’ve been struggling with your body confidence lately, maybe start with your wardrobe and your feed rather than your body ✨😊x #plussize #curve #bodypositivity
