If she was from the military people would not say that about her. They make exceptions for military people, but not women who survive massive complex trauma from the hands of their partner. Multiple institutions have come out and said that Ptsd from domestic violence is likened to soldiers returning from war.

This makes me so sad, I saw people saying that a week after she came out with it. And she quickly dropped it to escape scrutiny. The aftermath is sometimes worse than when you’re going through it. Because you’re constantly in a state of threat, no idea of their next move. You’re completely out of control and have to push yourself to heal and it shows up in every aspect of you life. C-PTSD is awful.

Yeah it’s a hard thing to go through Ik because I went through it I’m better now and it’s been a long time since I’ve been with my ex- husband and I still sometimes have bad dreams about him even though it’s been over 6 years and I have an amazing man now that it the best thing that happened to me

I completely understand her pain, I still wake up screaming or crying every now and again from what I’ve been through. I even sometimes still flinch even when play fighting with my current partner who has healed me.
