I went to a vein place yesterday and they did an ultra sound on my legs. I just went in for spider veins but they told me it looks like I have chronic venous insufficiency. What?? I have zero of the symptoms. How likely is this or am I being scammed? They said the spider veins are caused by the venous insufficiency

I told my dr mine bothered me, ached and are highly visible. She said they are nothing of concern and there is nothing I can do. 🙄

I got diagnosed with VIS and the vein doctor told me there’s nothing he will do unless it’s to a point of needing surgery. Until then he says to wear compression and sent me on my way…

Unfortunately if you are in the Uk they won’t sort them on the nhs until you have have repeated thrombophlebitis. I was quoted £3000 plus privately and I can’t afford that

I had both legs Ablations and also 2 rounds of Sclerotherapy. I had my second round of Sclerotherapy of Feb 18th and right above my left ankle it hurts to touch still
