"Nodus Fall" is an upcoming co-op action RPG from HoYoverse, and it looks completely different from anything the studio has made before. Set in a dark fantasy world where divine authority has collapsed, players take on the role of Weavers and team up to hunt down powerful mythic creatures. The reveal trailer shows a much more realistic art style than Genshin Impact or Zenless Zone Zero, with massive monsters, dark environments, and brutal-looking combat. The game appears heavily focused on cooperative monster hunting, with up to three players shown fighting enormous creatures together. Combat features swords, supernatural abilities, dodging, and tactical coordination, giving it a mix of Monster Hunter-style boss battles and Soulslike action. HoYoverse is also developing the game in Unreal Engine 5, marking another major departure from the studio's usual approach. "Nodus Fall" was officially unveiled during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026. HoYoverse has not yet announced a release date or confirmed platforms, so there's still plenty we don't know about the game.
