@janerivera_: This caused quite a stir on my YouTube channel—do you agree that the middle class is becoming the new poor in the Philippines? #MiddleClassPH #FinancialReality #PhilippinesEconomy #MoneyTalks #CostOfLiving

The middle class is the government’s most efficient ATM.
Taxes deducted automatically, benefits denied systematically.
Too ‘rich’ for help, too poor for loopholes.
We fund the system, absorb its failures, and get blamed for complaining.
Model citizens quietly overcharged.

Middle class pay for the poor's ayuda. Yung mga mahihirap na tambay lang may ayuda, hindi pagod sa pag tatrabaho. Samantalang hirap na hirap ang middle class pumasok sa work, puro tax deductions pa.

That truth really hurts because it feels unfair—and in many ways, it is. The middle class in the Philippines often carries the heaviest load, taxes, healthcare system… food, housing. Yet not rich enough to feel secure and not poor enough to receive consistent support from the govt.

For the record, the idea of the "middle class" is a distraction from the social classes that actually matter— the working class and owning class. Under capitalism, it doesn't matter if your salary is "high", you are still part of the working class if your source of money comes from your own labor. The very concept of lower, middle, and high class was manufactured by capitalists to give people the false narrative that regular people can be ultra-rich just like them as long as you worked hard enough.

There were no middle class in the first place. Only the ruling class and the working class. Read a bit about this topic.
