Agree with you, lowering the cost of building leads to more software and there will need to be people who can coordinate across those systems. What’s less clear is how that will actually net out in terms of actual jobs, will the increase in need for coordination roles offset the reduction in need for pure feature build and execution?

Let's not forget that not everyone will start coding… in the upcoming era personal trust, credibility and responsibilities will stand out in the crowd of ex-developers. To sell software you need many other components. So it's hardly soo fundamentally shifting.
