My kids school chair of governors took on my complaint of the Head .. turns out they all drink at the Christmas party together & chat on the phone .. he did nothing found nothing .. hope ur chair is better

That’s brilliant! When I complained about the head teacher, the head teacher responded… when I complained to the governors…. They spent public money to get their solicitors to tell me they aren’t investigating my complaint……

keep everything recorded, you can audio record meetings and have them transcripted! theres apps you can use. make sure you email them to let them aware your recording for your own records and transcripted purposes and they wont be shared publicly however if you need to use them for court, then you shall use them. but make sure this goes to dfe or lgsco

It will be interesting to find out who the independent body doing the independent inquiry is. If it’s council lead, you can probably guess it’s going to be biased for the school whereas if it’s an independent company or body other than the council then it should be above board.
