Zofran can potentially cause serious heart arrhythmias. I think that could be why. Most folks, minus chemo patients, use it for a short time. Also, unfortunately, with those type of viruses you do kind of need to let them run their course. I do understand the point of using it to prevent dehydration though. Either way, you’d think they’d have something available OTC for nausea.
