I'm a Public Adjuster. Home Inspections don't include Mold testing. No one realizes this. A home inspection license is different than a mold inspection license. We have to get the word out that everyone should get a mold test done before they buy a house.

This is why you get a full mold assessment before reaching out to insurance. Once you find out how bad it is, leave a candle by a curtain and call it a day 🥴🥴🫣🫣🫣. Sorry yall are going through this.

we looked at a flipped house and walked with the inspector. When we saw mold in the crawlspace the inspector said "I'm not able to say the word 'mold,' but there's some organic material there." It was mold, and it was very dark. I saw it for myself and backed out of the contract the same day.

I had Mold Remediation put onto my homeowners Policy (I pay a high premium) because this happened to a friend on a Brand New townhome & the builder wouldn’t pay. Thankfully she is Wealthy but I’m not. Good Luck to you & ur family.
