simplest answer is 1.9TDI in most diesel cars. Especially the VW ones between 2001 and 2008

2.0 TDI CR136/140/143/170 1.9 TDI ASZ ATD ALH ASV M47 M57 OM606 OM605 OM651 isnt bad if looked after 2.0 HDI is good 1.6 hdi with proper maintenance 1.9 JTD/CDTI Hondas 2.2 diesel is good rover L series is good Nissan 2.7 TD 1.7 TD Isuzu engine Renault K9K is good M9R is good if looked after too N57 and N47 if you actually bother to maintain them as well but most buy them and just don’t understand how to maintain a car
