Worse they start bullying you for it, I remember being bullied for liking pokemon even through it was a very popular thing to like at the time. I just always assumed it was because I got stuck with the classmates who prefer sports and allat stuff I had no interest in

Yep and then being undiagnosed you end up learning to mask but then you get so drained from masking but its hard to stop masking because its all you have ever known..

this is why my fellow nurrdivergents you learn about a Amazing thing called masking when your in the first 3 grades. then from there you keep masking until you get so deep into it you forgot who you are and suddenly your sitting there unable to remember what YOU enjoy and who YOU are. :3

My friends I had since middle school dumped me early freshman year because they took my AuDHD as narcissism. . Said I only wanted friends to stroke my ego.. all because I didn’t know how to empathize/sympathize for someone who was going through something I had never experienced and therefore didn’t understand how to comfort them. I’m a great listener but horrible comforter..
