I've found if I hire consultants in my weak areas it improves my overall profitability. There aren't any business that the CEO does everything. They delegate different tasks to people that specialize in those areas. Farmers shouldn't be any different.

Like everyone knows, there’s certain things we do and our reasoning is “that’s the way we’ve always done it” a consultant, heck even a group a friends, can really help with keeping guys from repeatedly doing the same thing and catching things maybe you’d miss
