Im gonna be real, ik there is no scientific evidence to this but from my experience as a girl hats make it worse. I remember when I had to wear a hat for work the breakage was insane, and my middle part would get clearer and clearer. If u must wear the hat make sure you wash it every few days because the sweat and bacteria builds up quick which can actually cause some issues with hair loss. Give your hair breathing time, scalp massages, careful with minoxidil and use only the spray. NO PILLS. Once your on the pills your body becomes accustomed to the compounds that they provided which means the second u get off then the hair loss comes back and often times worse. I have no other advice but good luck soldier🫡

get on the minoxidil (that the generic rogaine). they sell a six month supply at Costco for like $50. use it twice a day and it'll help regrow your hair. but you have to keep using it, otherwise the new hair that grows back will eventually fall out

if you have cats, be careful of products with minoxidil (rogaine) bc it’s toxic to them even if it gets on your pillowcase

Go see a dermatologist immediately and get started on treatment asap. My bf did this at the first sign of his hair thinning and it’s been a year into treatment and his hair is so full and fluffy. The sooner you start the better.

Get a good silicon scalp massager and use it daily. Wash your hair no more than twice a week. Use only no astringent shampoos. Never die straighten or in any way chemically treat your hair. Keep it cut short, long hair thins faster than short.
