I love AirAsia 😊 I travel a lot with my two kids and we only do carry ons (we live in Chiang Mai), so I’ve learned what to expect at the airport now. The only real issue I had was some delays coming back from Malaysia. I don’t love the bus ride to the plane, but I just see it as part of the adventure ✈️I’m sorry you had a bad experience though

Yeah AirAsia is a budget airline. For long haul flight don’t fly them. Their good for like flying within why country and not too far out

Do you mean Air Asia? I’ve used them often for flying between provinces within Thailand. Never had any issues.

A lot of Asian airlines have weight restrictions for carryons even Korean airlines weighs your bags, it just depends on who you get. 😅

Most airlines have a weight restriction for carry on luggage. Qatar does the same thing. It’s normally 7kg

Asia air is so bad !! It’s only worth it if you’re only flying with a backpack as carry on which they freaking weight and they don’t even give water on the flight 😫😫

Same thing happen to me and my friend, we flew from Bangkok to Chaing Mai and had to pay $300 a piece for luggage…more than the actual flight smh

I live in Thailand, so I've used Air Asia quite a bit. It can be fine for short flights in Thailand or to neighboring countries but I will never take one of their long-hual flights. Flew 11.5 hours to Turkey and they do not have TVs or food service on their flights. You must purchase food from them (even water). They also delayed/canceled flights for 4 days in two diffrent countries on our flight back to Phuket. It was a nightmare.

most lcc in asia have weight limit on all baggage. recently went from tokyo to bangkok and i had a choice between air asia and china airlines. i saw some of the baggage stuff and then decided to buy china airlines. it was amazing and got a meal on each flight
