What if you confront them for ignoring said boundary and they respond with, ‘what are you going to do about it?’ And then flat out deny they said this to you until the end of time? This was my final push to go no contact.

Daughter (44) that calls often at our dinner hour 5-6pm. We explained many times that we eat then & would prefer she call before or after that hour. We are 70. If we call her at an inconvenient time she does not answer her phone - boundaries. She calls us as she pleases. We love her very much. My husband answers because he’s afraid we will hurt her feelings 🥲🕊️💯

My mother got my new address from my cousin and started sending me holiday/birthday cards after I specifically didn’t give it to her after telling her I didn’t want her sending us anything anymore. When I told her I was upset about it she said it wasn’t “normal” for moms to not have their kids addresses…. Okay but nothing about our relationship is normal and doing this sure isn’t going to help
