That's why this is also symbolic. There's a reason why Yuji Iwasaki drew her in the stepping stones, not on the far shore. This literally connects with the Sanzu River, and with that, it also connects with Bodhisattva Jizo Bosatsu. Yuji is Jizo Bosatsu, and he'll pull a child (Yuka) from passing the river fully.
