They literally refuse to do it correctly anywhere outside of Japan. They give you thin soup and normal noodles. This looks DIVINE

highly highly recommend Ramen Tokiya in osaka, its a 13 minute walk from shin osaka station. its my favorite tsukemen ramen spot!

the first experience of tsukemen in japan was bad so i avoided it for years (broth was cold and way too salty). it's still not my go-to noodle but if i had such a guide then it might have turned out different 😂

I’m not a fan of tsukemen myself, but the best one I’ve had was a small shack that served their soup in a bowl with a big hollow bread sphere as the lid

The noodles don’t have to be cold. You can get tsumetaimem (cold) or atatakaimen (hot)
