@in.power.electric: ⚡️code section 352.44 Expansion fittings!! Make sure you're using the Table 352.44 a for any PVC runs that are exposed to the elements, and there is a temperature variance! #NEC #electrician #sparky #sparkylife #electriciansoftiktok @Milwaukee Tool @Mike Holt Enterprises @electricaltime.com @Stevenj120volts @Tanner The Electrician @The Angry Sparky @Nic.Electric @Shameless Plug Electric @SurgeElectricalTraining @Mape Electric
By code, you don’t need one if it’s in the same structure. Only between two separate structures or structure and ground. That house is not expanding if it is a against the foundation is cracking lol

this video isnt stopping pvc from getting hot and warping. its just allowing correct expansion when it does that. its still going to look like a dump in 3 years regardless

Another option is use something that doesn’t melt when the sun beats on it, metal conduit instead of cheap plastic garbage?

Would look ALOT better if the tik tok electricians would use EMT. PVC should not be seen ever.

Just use schedule 80 instead of 40 it won’t happen and you don’t need an expansion fitting on the same structure

the barrel of the expansion needs to be supported, and according to the manufacturer those click straps don't allow the conduit to slide.
