@lauren_thelabornurse: As a labor and delivery nurse, if I were choosing which hospital to give birth at, these are the red flags that I would side eye. Were you told any of these things at your hospital? And if you’re already locked into a hospital you don’t love, I have a video soon of how to still advocate for yourself #laboranddelivery #laboranddeliveryrn #laboranddeliverynurse #birth
i don’t get to choose, my ob only operates out of one hospital

what about just the hospital itself? for me, its carpets. i mean, the occasional rug is okay, but if your floors are full on carpets its a no for me. thats gross. thats icky.

I had no idea about #2! I had my first in 2020 and had a very long labor (42 hours) and I was STARVING. I ended up having an emergency c section, but I imagine if I had gotten to the point of pushing that I would have been so exhausted and had no energy at all!

My doctor said I could get induced at 38 if I want. But it’s no real reason for me to be I have no health complications other than nausea

so far haven't had any issues with the hospital I'm using. due in 1 week. but I don't know what I would do if I didn't like them. they are the closest hospital to me that has an OB and NICU ward. and they are 45 minutes away in a different city

I’m with Kaiser Permanente but I don’t like the services they provide especially since they are on strike would I be able to transfer to a new hospital ? Or would Kaiser not allow that ?

I asked to be induced at 39 weeks because I had a plethora of health issues and I was so uncomfortable. My ob said yes but my hospital was questioning it 😂 I’m going to ask again for my third. These last pregnancies are tough

My Dr said the only way I can get a vbac is if I go into labor on my own and they will not induce me they’ll just schedule a c section
