leaving this comment because I wish someone told me this before. This is exactly how I got traction alopecia. Now I'm on minoxidil permanently and my crown hair that fell out because of this now grew out, literally different texture than the remaining hair.

The video is probably flipped- so just a quick tip! For the curls to go AWAY from your face, wrap your hair LEFT TO RIGHT. I did it right to left last night and my hair looks great, but I know some people like curls going away from their face!! 💕

I have been doing that for years.. It gives you the nicest curls and you can make more buns if you want your curls to go in different directions like from front to back.. Very nicely explained 😊
