I mean if it wasn't obvious from checking the account, this story is AI. It follows that similar trope those AI novels do. Person 1 and 2 have to choose something, Person 2 picks the better one and Person 1 is left with the worse one. The thing Person 2 gets turns out to be worse and Person 1's object is better. Then they rebirth and yada yada you should get it if you've seen the stories before,,,[speechless]
