ok. peri/menopausal here. I was diagnosed in high school, no dr believed me until last September(of course a dr with a uterus). bio identical estrogen and progesterone and FINALLY Vyvanse for ADHD... frikken life altering to the point of tears of joy and relief. For the first time in my 40-almost-7 years it is quiet in my head and with intense trauma work/therapy, I am finally able to remember events in my childhood. and what I had on the list I left at home!

I’m on the generic vyvanse, they only thing I don’t like is when I’m not working (like now while I’m laid off) it bumps up my anxiety. Gotta have something to do with all that executive function capability!

Vyvanse was amazing. Stay mindful if its not working how you'd like, they can always adjust the dose. Unfortunately I'm the tiny percent of people who's seizure threshold is lowered by stimulant medication. I'm on a non stimulant now and while its moderately helpful I really miss how helpful vyvanse was.

58 years old. Recently diagnosed ADHD. Been on vyvanse since early fall. My first feeling I noticed - I was happy. For the first time I wasn’t exhausted keeping my shit, and my family’s shit, together. Loving it so much.

I love it, have not seen any side effects. I’ve been on it 4 months. I take it 6 am, around 7 you’re ready to start the day. I go to gym 6 days a week 9 am it’s the best for focus. 30 mg dose. 5’10 in height

I say this a mom of 2 kids who took this med. Keep an eye on your mental health. It’s actually a great med, but after awhile both of my kids had to go off. I found for both of them their symptoms seemed to be impacted around puberty, so since you’re on hormones that may impact it 🩷 (said as a mom of a transitioning 21 year old ) BUT a lot of my adult friends are thriving on it. Another option is Wellbutrin.

was on vyvanse for years, it can be crazy at the start - depending on your work load, you’ll have to find the perfect time to take it. can wear off early - if you have a strenuous day - like the gym. dm if you wanna chat more 💕

My partner takes vivance and it gives him terrible headaches so he went off it and only takes it on days he has to concentrate but he suffers after. My brother also takes it and swears by it, no headaches like my partner. He says it has made his life amazing.

I LOOOVED vyvanse at the start, but over time it became less and less effective and the crash at the end of the day just got worse and worse ☹️like sitting in bed with absolutely no will to move or do things or be happy. Those few months at the beginning though were wonderful, especially the first few hours at the start of the day where my brain was absolutely silent and I could set myself on doing anything I wanted

I like Vyvance. I take it. My ONLY complaint is the withdrawal if I don’t take it is brutal so make sure you stay on top of it- which I know is already hard to remember with adhd.

My eldest son has ADHD. He does not like medications so he went the natural route and uses the devils lettuce to regulate. I use the same for anxiety.

Becareful with vyvanse. My son was on it and it made him very paranoid very afraid always looking over his shoulder. That’s when he was younger. He was on it. He’s been on Quillivant XR ever since I took him off of the other one for his ADHD and anxiety and it works perfectly. It keeps him focused and what he needs to do. He tried focalin which made him mean and aggressive. Then went to Vyvanse. Vyvanse diminished his appetite as well so he lost a little bit of weight with that one.
