Finland is big on ‘freak culture’, and in many other European countries Finns would feel alien, so it’s really no surprise they choose these songs, bc they don’t see anything wrong with them (I’m saying all this as someone who lived in Finland for many years, and also has lived in many other eu countries, I have never been as comfortable being me in public as I’ve been in Finland)
