I got married in Italy in September, cannot recommend Brilliant Events Italy more. We had a 3 day luxury wedding, with full service planning for a pretty reasonable price. Their headquarters is in Venice but work in Tuscany all the time. They were at all three events, and everything was perfect. If anything went wrong, I didn’t know about it.. Good luck planning!

getting married in lake como with 3 events in Aug. my planner was around ~€8K if I’m remembering correctly and worth EVERY PENNY. She’s honestly gone above and beyond in every detail and also with helping me find vendors. Hiring someone local is a must IMO.. they all know each other! She’s been able to negotiate a few things for us and also manages my expectations around Italian culture and speed. They are so slow to do anything lol! Good luck!!!!🤍🤍

Where is your venue? Our venue offered a planner as an add-on and we’re paying €5,000 for 3x days events for 100 guests (Tuscany in September & on site for the full time)! So yes, it’s expensive but I still think you’re being over charged by most of these if that helps with your negotiations / search at all 🥹

That’s crazy prices! Coming from a 2024, Tuscan bride! I can’t remember the exact amount but it was around €1,300 (she was our Airbnb host too) inc. coordination on the day! Xx

The only reason they charge These extortionate prices is because you’re foreign. Wedding planners in Italy exclusively work with foreigners. Locals take care of everything themselves.

A €10k planning fee is standard if you are receiving a service that reflects that quality, through years of experience. True luxury in wedding planning is effective and intentional communication. It’s about teamwork between the planner and the couple. A planner should not push vendors. Find a planner that protects your vision and budget and surrounds you with a team that aligns perfectly with your specific style. Based on experience, when the couple and a planner match it is a great partnership and a really great year spent working together.

I work in Carmel California and it’s not unusual for a planner to be 30k. Normal range is about 10-20k.
