When my oldest was a toddler he would let anybody but family cut his nails. We’d go to our neighbors house to have them cut or I’d have someone at the daycare I worked at and he went to cut his nails😂

My kids would take a bath every night. they still do even though they're older. sometimes it was a clean bath. sometimes it was just a play bath and after they got out of the bath they came to me. I would brush out their hair. even if they were boys, I would still brush the hair out and I would spend that time cleaning their ears and clipping their nails

When the family is sitting on the couch watching TV. I go and cut my husband‘s nails then my eldest daughter then my toddler. She sees that everyone got their nails clipped and will let me.

I do my own nails so I act like I need help cutting mine and tell him if he’s going to help me I have to cut his first then I let him hack at mine and fix them later

I would sit my son on my lap and distract him with a toy in the other hand. When he was around 2 my husband would hold him down. He’ll be 7 in a few days and he’s good about sitting until it comes to his toenails and then he reenacts how my pug acted getting her nails clipped. With my 4 yr old we’ve always done “nail salon” and she, for the most part sits still. I bribe her with nail polish(piggy paint) and paw patrol on my computer😂

No kids, but maybe get one of those scratch boards for dogs and tell her scratching her nails on it is the newest way to finger paint

Luckily my son loves getting his finger nails done but he has to help do them 😂 It's his toe nails that he HATES trimming and it's especially hard bc he has reoccurring ingrown toe nails on both of his big toes 🙃 It takes both me and my husband to hold him down long enough to just barely trim them so they at least don't snag on his socks 😭

I think it’s one of those things that like….you’re just gonna have to feel bad about after. Hog tie her. Swaddle her. Ambush while sleeping. 😭😂

we use a high value treat like an ice cream cone she can hold it in one hand while I do the other then switch then we do the feet

My son is OBSESSED with Mrs Rachel. So I put her on and do them while he’s watching. If he doesn’t let me it gets shut off and I’ll try again later. He eventually realized if he only fights me enough to only make it inconvenient not impossible he gets to watch Mrs Rachel lmao.
