Lies it only effects those who bought during covid to recently and even then they can refinance at a lower rate and it will still be more than it was worth by the time they sell/or die. Because 90% buy a house with the intention of living there into retirement. The fact houses increased by double means it is an abnormal increase. They pay higher property taxes. All he wants to protect is his buddies who buy up housing and turn it into rental properties that make rent unreasonable.
