It’s cold enough outside you can just leave things like jam outside in the cold and they will stay fresh. But leaving it on your counter for a few days is perfectly fine.

Thanks! This was very helpful. The only thing I would add is jugs of water or like 5 gallon buckets of water in case you aren’t able to flush your toilets because of power outages. I refilled some old jugs that I had from previous storms.
