How do you keep it from rusting? I ordered one, and the amount of rust it sheds after washing is unbelievable.

I had one of these and constantly used for breakfast. Wonderful for pancakes and grilled cheese. I now have a flat top stove.

I have a big 30” one like that. Fits on the whole stove. But I put it on top of my charcoal grill. It’s pretty dang heavy.

A dangerous heatwave sweeping across large parts of the United States has been linked to at least 25 deaths as millions continue to face extreme temperatures and heat alerts. New Jersey officials say 22 suspected heat-related deaths have been reported across 10 counties, with many victims found inside homes without air conditioning, outdoors, or in parked vehicles. Investigators are still determining the official causes of death, but preliminary findings indicate the extreme heat played a significant role. Additional heat-related deaths have also been reported in Illinois and Mississippi. In one Mississippi case, authorities said a 74-year-old man died from heat exposure after being reported missing. Another victim, an 83-year-old woman, died after she and her husband were unable to get up after falling in their garden and spending hours in the intense heat. The National Weather Service has issued heat alerts affecting more than 140 million people. While some northern areas are expected to cool in the coming days, dangerous temperatures continue across parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. The extreme conditions also disrupted holiday events, with several celebrations canceled or modified due to the heat. Emergency crews treated dozens of people for heat-related illnesses during events in Washington, D.C. Officials are urging people to stay hydrated, limit time outdoors during the hottest parts of the day, use air-conditioned spaces whenever possible, and check on elderly neighbors, family members, and others who may be especially vulnerable to the heat.#fyp #viral
