What upsets me most about this case is that it *seems* as though someone who is quite rich and powerful may have exploited the language and advocacy of victims of sexual violence awareness to use the same tactics of coercive control and manipulation to... gain more power in this specific project? for funsies? Or perhaps their own internalized misogyny was seething seeing a man who they deemed "weaker" than them and "too nice." And then the nerve of the peanut gallery to call anyone critical of her behavior, considering she may have been on the higher end of the power dynamic scale, and/or seeing holes in the allegations a "bad feminist." True feminism is understanding that some women also use tools of patriarchy (power and control) to hurt others, including men, and that we should stand up against abuses of power and coercive control no matter who it's directed at.
