A phone call would have sufficed. No need for a customer to drive in.

Too much talking. Brief - direct and sincere apology. Say you’re on it and respect his time

Stefano handled the customer complaint very well initially providing a clear explanation without going into unnecessary detail the follow up response from Mustache included multiple excuses which ultimately conflicted with the principle that paying customers want to see results not explanations the customer would have been better served by seeing the job completed properly which would demonstrate that the company takes complaints seriously going forward operators should either ensure the job is completed to standard when a customer raises a concern or escalate it to someone who can rather than leaving the issue unaddressed and hoping the customer does not notice.

I think this was handled great. You listened, you apologized and want to make it right. My boss has a different attitude, with some customers, he tells them to find someone else if they aren’t happy. 😂

Look, even though you have the best of the best equipment there are times where operators are tired, not paying attention, nervous about Plowing close to a home, and many other things that could lead to a customer being dissatisfied with a service. As long as you try to correct the issue as a boss / foreman / manager youre showing you genuinely want to make it right.
