This is why we homeschool. Nothing like an hour of schoolwork on the beach, and a trip to a museum or historical site to really get the story across.

This was always me. My daughter got a letter from the school regarding her attendance. Mental health matters and we all do better when our mental health is addressed.

People act like real life experiences can’t be equally as educational as sitting in a classroom every week. We public school but we all need mental health breaks and experiences too.

I will never care about my kids attendance at an institution especially when I know they’re doing a hell of a lot better than 90% of the kids they go to school with 🤷🏻♀️getting good grades will never beat offering my kids life experiences 👏

Took my kids out a week before spring break last year because it was half the cost. They’ll never remember that week out of school but they’ll always have our trip memories! ☀️
