A lot of dermatologist recommend those brands because they don't do a whole lot. They aren't gonna irritate your skin, but they aren't gonna clear it up either. Unless you have like pretty minuscule problems.

wait huhhh i work in dermatology and had terrible acne growing up, all of these are great for dry acne prone skin. if anything all the other brands are not useful for us because they have unnecessary fragrances/other harsh chemicals

as a dehydrated acne girly… la roche posay is the only thing that worked, and good skin molecules. not even going to an esti has given me the results i have now.
