On behalf of lots of patients - thank you for being this way. When something scary is happening health-wise, it’s easy for patients who are vulnerable to get nervous and over explain things to a complete stranger. But you make it safe for them to do that. I’m sure in the long-run it helps them get comfortable with you, and that will build a successful doctor-patient relationship (in the very long-run lol).

No bc my grandpa had a stroke/brain bleed yesterday and i stg my grandma and dad were holding the care team captive. I had to tell them to let them go to their other patients 😭

I don’t know how medicine/non procedure doctors do it. I lose money on my office days (don’t bill enough to cover rent, EMR, office admin etc) but am lucky to be able to do this.
