I think people forget or don’t understand that the patients are (imo) the most important part of the show. They are the ENTIRE reason. We got our first death for the day this episode and that’s tragic.

We NEED so-called “fillers.” I’m so grateful the Pitt is proving what television historians like me have been saying for years: a 15 episode season or a 22 episode season has tremendous value to the way television works as a medium. I’m hoping to see a return to more luxurious seasons with “filler” episodes. They are key.

I’m convinced people don’t actually know what they want. Like The Pitt is a character drama first with a large event that they build to. But WE NEED TO KNOW THE CHARACTERS FIRST BEFORE THINGS HIT THE FAN.
