It baffles me that people are ok with putting a pet down to spare them suffering but are not ok with humans choosing MAID to spare themselves from suffering or unnecessary hardships

I'm also in BC. a few yrs ago I had the privilege of witnessing my (ex) partner's grandparents pass via MAID. they had been together over 50 yrs and went holding hands, surrounded by family. it was intensely beautiful and surreal. I am so happy this choice exists here. I wish you nothing but love and light on your journey ❤️

My mum was given the option to have maid, and used it, due to severe arthritis which caused extreme pain. She wasn’t terminal from the disease

I think MAID is amazing. My Mom applied for it at the beginning of her dementia. This was in 2018, BEFORE dementia was being approved. They have come so far with MAID - to accommodate so many people who are suffering intolerably.

its good that they give u a choice in Canada. in the uk they wpuldnt approve it because of do gooders who have a voice over saying its wrong .when them or there family's never ad a terminal illness and see ppl die horrible deaths . put dogs down but would give ppl a choice x
