As a student that goes to GHS, it’s very apparent how other high schools have “the better treatment” say having a practice field at their school, the size differences, uniforms for school spirit clubs, etc. I’m glad GISD is getting held accountable after all these years of doing absolutely nothing.

I love you. I saw you on channel 5 today. They talked about how you taught students to act if ice is around. I’m so proud of you. You’re the best dad ever and a wonderful educator. I’m so happy that I follow you and get inspired and supported every day. I’m a 64-year-old gay man.

I’ve followed you for a long time. I didn’t even realize you were also in DFW. So many districts have this disparity. Plano is also a prime example. I chose to live in Allen ISD because pooling resources the way they do for middle and high school is so much better.

As a former Schrade and RHS student you are not wrong. The disparity between the schools within the same district is abhorrent- thank you for your passion and speaking on this as everyone within the same district deserves the same opportunities

I live in Texas. And you’re right. It’s wild how different they treat different schools in districts. I’m lucky my daughter goes to a school that accepts all kids, protects all the same, and they have good resources and extra curriculum programs. I love what you do. Keep doing it man. We need more teachers like you. That’s care and teach children properly! All kids and teens should know their rights. You’re a good dude!! And I love your little family. Your son and girl are adorable!

We need people like you on the school board to fix the system. As a teacher who’s worked at both “good” and “not so good” schools you are absolutely correct. It’s infuriating. Those babies deserve the best no matter their economic background.

This is how I found out you used to work in Texas.. HOLY SHIT WHAT. The entire time I watched your videos I kept thinking this could never have happened in Texas. I grew up in Frisco for context. Later went to a Catholic high school that was mostly run by ex GISD teachers. I can’t believe you were ever a teacher in Texas that’s insane. 🤣

I went to Sellers MS in GISD.. I know exactly what you talking about! I went to Sachse HS and saw how different the school was over there versus Naaman or North Garland.. pretty wild to me! And this was back in 2007 when I was in MS! Sad to hear that is still going on.
