I HATE moving! We lived in our last place for 17 years, moved to a new house and never wanna move again hahaha. I pick two rooms per month to purge (I work full time and I’m a single mom to 3 kids, both my boys have special needs so that’s about all I can get through) I deep clean, refresh and purge small clothes or old toys they don’t play with. 🤷🏼♀️I hate clutter and cleaning things we don’t need or want! 😊

My mom was military. We moved every 1-2 years. We had several rules. if you don't open a box from the last move (unless it's marked as photos/keepsakes), we donate the unopened box because we clearly didn't need it. Also, if you haven't worn/used it in a year, it goes. For specialty items (skis. scuba gear, etc) you have to get rid of it if you haven't used it in 5 years.
